What if you could prepare your brain for the unknown? – Strategy 2

What if you could prepare your brain for the unknown? – Strategy 2

I don’t know about you, but I find Life has a strange knack of tapping you on the shoulder just when you think you have it all figured out. Or when you think the sh*t has hit the fan – as I did when I posted about the pink fluffy dressing gown incident (check it out in our private Facebook group the Tough Mothers Village). Only to find Life has given us Covid-19…

Hello, THE SH*T HAS OFFICALLY HIT THE FAN!

Similarly, you think things couldn’t get much worse and then you get a sunrise like this.

Life changes all the time. Nothing is fixed.

So, we need to have a strong mind in order to stay present and not get caught up by the changes.

The easiest way to do this is to train our brain. Whether it’s for when the sh*t hits the fan, or just general Life.

The strategies in the 5 Ways To Train Your Brain For When The Sh*t Hits The Fan series will strengthen your mind.

It is inevitable. You can’t train and not get stronger.

I practice the attached strategy (number 2!) every day without fail. I can truly feel its effect on me and there is plenty of science to back it up.

I’d love for you to give it a try and let me know how you go. What is your experience with these strategies?

Q: What is it you do?

A:I teach mothers about their brain / mind and how they can train their own brain to improve their motherhood life and beyond. For some mums / moms it is a little tweak to create more joy. For other mothers is a deep delve that leads to long-lasting fulfillment.

Train your brain for stress – free guide – Strategy 1

Train your brain for stress – free guide – Strategy 1

A couple of weeks ago I shared a photo in our private Facebook group The Tough Mothers Village of me in a pink fluffy dressing gown, eating condensed milk out of a can. #HighlightOfMyLife embarassed

Unfortunately, some sh*t had hit the fan, that stressed me out. And this was part of my way to cope with it.

Sharing that photo made me realise that we are often in situations where the sh*t has hit the fan. None more serious than what is currently happening in the world with the novel coronavirus.

Stress is so debilitating. Which is why I wanted to share with you 5 simple exercises you can do NOW (at home!) to not only reduce stress immediately, but also prepare your brain to better deal with stress as it comes up.

This FREE series of strategies I put together for you not only shares these 5 ways to help train your brain, but also explains how they work.

Whether it is small sh*t, medium sh*t or massive sh*t, these same principles apply to reduce stress.

Q: What is it you offer?

A: Individualised support for mothers, using self-directed neuroplasticity (the ability for you to change your own brain) as a basis.

It sounds much more complex than it is. Don’t let the science scare you, that is just the part that proves it works.
